Do you support Microsoft Windows 98?
Yes, you can use the Critter on a machine running Microsoft(R) Windows 98. You will need to be sure to also install DirectX as it does not come native. DirectX also needs to be installed to run on Microsoft Windows 2000.
Do you support the Macintosh or Linux operating systems?
We are sorry but the Critter is not compatible with either Linux or the Macintosh.
Can I use the serial port on my computer for the Critter?
The serial port is not the same as a game port and cannot be used to connect the Critter to your computer.
Can I use the USB port on my computer for the Critter?
You cannot directly connect the Critter to your USB port, but you can purchase a USB to gameport adapter that will allow you to connect the Critter to your computer.
Can I visualize the data collected by the Critter logging?
Yes, the data is generated as a text file for you to easily import the data into any visualization program. Be aware that not all visualization programs are able to handle the large amount of data the can be generated by the Critter.
